If there’s one piece of advice I’ll hear almost every married couple say to those who are about to exchange their vows, it’s this: “Enjoy every moment because the day will pass by in a blur.” There are way too many stories of couples who missed so many moments of their day or didn’t get the chance to laugh, hug and dance with some of their favourite people.
I definitely don’t want that for you.
My focus is very much on letting you experience your wedding day from beginning to end. From getting up and ready in the morning, the anticipation and nerves as you head into your ceremony, the joy and love in the moments after, and right up to the partying that goes on into the evening. Not to mention every other exquisite moment in between.
Because this is your wedding day and a celebration of the incredible love that surrounds you—both between you as a couple but also with all the people you love and adore the most.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
FROM OUR FULL DAY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE
From getting ready through to throwing shapes on the dancefloor, you can expect us to be there for every joyful moment of your day.
We’ll mostly stay in the background, photographing everything as it happens—tapping into all the emotions, drawing on all the feelings of the day, and really focusing on the atmosphere of it all. Of course, we’ll step forward and organise those all-important posed shots, if needed. And then you’ll get to spend a little private time together as we get some beautiful couple shots too. But mostly we’ll work super hard to create a series of memories that’ll have you right back there in the moment every time you look at them in years to come.
After the day itself, you’ll get a mini preview of some of your images to share with your friends and family while you wait for the full gallery. Around 8-12 weeks after your wedding day, your full gallery will be delivered. Don’t worry, it’ll totally be worth the wait!
And if prints and albums are important to you, there are full options for you to choose these afterwards too.

You’ve always known you don’t want the big wedding. As a couple it means more to you to head out into the countryside or somewhere meaningful (because anywhere goes in Scotland!) and say those vows just for the two of you and no one else.
As a local photographer, I love being able to help you plan your Scottish elopement, however you envision it to be. I’ll recommend epic countryside locations or take you on a tour of the city, all while capturing the moments you share, the emotions you feel and the love that you have for each other.

Full pricing can be sent on request. For full wedding coverage, packages start at £2800 and most couples spend an average of £3200. Elopements start at £1200.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
DO WE REALLY NEED TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS?
Two sets of eyes are better than one, in our humble opinion! But it’s also so much more than this. My husband, Sam, and I love to photograph weddings and elopements together and each bring our own, unique perspectives to your day. While you’re focussed on what I’m doing, Sam works on getting those sneaky shots in, often capturing some of the most beautiful “stolen moments”. It also helps to minimise any disruption as we can be in two places at once—particularly useful for the ceremony, speeches and during the group shots. And, of course, if you’re getting ready separately, we can cover both locations.
DO YOU OFFER WEDDING ALBUMS?
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?
Every wedding is unique so the final number of images really depends on a variety of factors, such as time of year, weather, what’s happening on the day and how interactive your guests are. Typically, though, I aim to deliver a minimum of 200 for an elopement and 700 for a full day wedding but I’ll often deliver much more. You should know, though, that I take great pride in delivering as many of the “keepers” as possible!
HOW MANY HOURS COVERAGE WILL I RECEIVE?
I get that, for most people, the value of the work is dependent on the number of hours I’m there for, but it’s actually to do with what I’m covering during that time that makes the difference. Typically, the bulk of my time spent capturing your wedding falls between the ceremony and meal and this varies depending on the number of guests, the time schedule, travel, and how many posed photos are needed during this time. For some weddings, I’ll be taking thousands of images and, for others, only a few hundred or so. I use my experience to gauge what’s needed and align my packages accordingly. To give you some idea, full day wedding coverage is usually around 9-10 hours with a break during mealtime. Elopements and small wedding packages have a suggested amount of hours but they aren’t fixed so do chat with me about your specific day!

I can hear the roar of the waterfall. I can even feel the dampness of my feet from trudging through the mud.
