Turns out that when visiting from Australia you bring the sunshine, fact! Alex and Neil found some time in their jam-packed week back home prior to their wedding to visit me in Fintry for some engagement images. We chose the Loup of Fintry a stunning waterfall very close to my home village. [click here to view another engagement session at the Loup of Fintry]
We had lots of fun basking in the rare Scottish sunshine. Fitting in the time for your engagement session is a great idea, not only does this give you some shots of the two of you sans wedding attire but is also a great way for us to get to know each-other. I loved spending this time to get to know Alex and Neil a little better and they both said how much they enjoyed the session and how helpful it was in preparation for their wedding photos. These sessions are all about having fun and spending time together, taking some time away from your busy stressful lives and re-connecting. I offer engagement sessions at a reduced rate with my main wedding package for this very reason. It’s not just an excuse for some extra pictures but a really useful way of getting to know you as a couple and you getting used to being in front of the camera.
Fintry is my home village. I don’t need to venture far for amazing scenery and often do my engagement photography sessions here. At only 20 miles from Glasgow. In less than an hour’s drive you can be in the Scottish countryside with these epic views.
If you’re planning an engagement, couple or adventure session close to Glasgow with incredible views. Fintry is the perfect location. I can guide you to all the best locations to take advantage of the light, make the most of the weather and show you all those hidden spots.
