Tipi Wedding at Ballathie House & Murthly Chapel | Becca and Zander

I’ve been waiting a while to post this little gem.  When I met Becca and Zander for their engagement shoot we hit it off straight away and I knew this wedding would be one to remember! Not least because they are a gorgeous couple but because some people just blow you away by how lovely they are.  The whole day was packed full to the brim with beauty, none more than Becca who looked absolutely beautiful in her lace covered blush dress designed by Angela Vickers, topped with elegant flower crown and a bouquet of beautiful peonies by Stucio & Waow and of course aided by the wonderful Jillian Elizabeth.

As I arrived at the ceremony venue Murthly Chapel I was just blown away! I met a rather excitable Zoe from Photos by Zoe who had been expertly photographing the boys in the morning, I won’t lie, we did some squealing and leapt around like giddy school girls.  The Chapel and Surroundings at Murthly are just breathtaking, it was such a treat to photograph such a wonderful wedding there. After a wonderfully moving and heartfelt ceremony we took advantage of the dry, sunny summer weather and photographed the newly weds in the Chapel grounds before heading over to the reception.

The wedding reception was held at Ballathie House which in itself is a stunning venue set amongst beautiful Perthshire Countryside, made all the more magical by Special Events Tipis who provided Becca and Zander with their rather wonderful Tipi setup complete with marshmallow toasting fire pit! It was stuffed full of beautiful details which Becca and Zander put so much love and attention into creating. Later on Becca arranged a surprise Pipe Band performance for Zander which thankfully the rain subsided for, we even got a rainbow!

Yes this wedding was a beaut, but what made it so wholesomely wonderful was the warmth and happiness from everyone there, it truly was an absolute joy to photograph and I’m so thrilled to have been a part of it all 🙂

Thank you so much to Becca and Zander for entrusting me with your wedding photography and for being such wonderful friends, congratulations to you both and wishing you all the love and happiness for your life together.

A very special mention too for Zoe from Photos by Zoe for her invaluable support, and fantastic photography skills, go team Zoe! and it was really lovely to work with John from Little Love Films, you can see his beautiful highlights video from the wedding here.

Finally without further ado, I present to you the wedding of Becca and Zander…
