Short and sweet, relaxed wedding video
I’ve been making short, relaxed wedding videos for some time now. I spent many years trialling taking clips alongside the photography. Gaining confidence with switching between video and photo mode. I’m not always very confident with new skills, and it took me some time before I shared them with the world. A few couples got in touch with me to ask me to do a video for them. One of these awesome couples was Ruth and Neil. Sam and I created a highlight video for them with a mix of video clips and stills from throughout the day.
Bride Cate’s mum stumbled across Ruth and Neil’s wedding video and loved it. She told me “I’m usually not a fan of wedding videos but you have made me a convert”. She booked us for their wedding and became our first video only booking!
Summer wedding at Cambo Estate in Fife
Cate and Jonny’s summer wedding was incredible. They pulled off a relaxed wedding with style and sophistication. Their love for each-other and their friends and family shone through, it was an absolute pleasure to film them.

There were many incredible moments on the day. The highlight for me was definitely seeing Cate’s dad’s reaction when he saw her in her dress for the first time. It was an incredibly emotional moment and one I’ll remember for years to come.
Initially we were not going to have a videographer, but when we saw Zoe Alexandra’s videos we could not resist! Her editing made it feel like we were watching the weddings in real time.
On the day Zoe and her husband also made us feel so comfortable, and they worked with Anna to get the best shots that would work for still photos and video.
