When Kirsten contacted me about her summer wedding I knew instantly it was going to be pretty awesome, and man was I right! Kirsten and Gary were married in June at High Wards in Gartocharn a stunning private house near Loch Lomond.  It was a laid back affair with a festival feel, all the guests wore ‘feastival’ lanyards and pitched in with their own blankets, chairs and of course an array of summer drinks kept cool in the paddling pools dotted around the lawn.  Everyone looked so chilled and happy basking in the glorious afternoon sunshine chatting, playing games and listening to the playlist created by their friends and family’s favourite songs.  The highlight (other than the beautiful ceremony of course!) for the guests and Gary in particular was the epic BBQ Hogroast expertly provided by Jam Jar Catering with some pretty awesome veggie options for the bride notably the awesome mac n’ cheese in a tin – YUM.
Kirsten looked utterly stunning, despite dress drama days before the wedding, she more than pulled off her beautiful dress and lace bolero with last minute accessories and stunning flowers by Myrtle and Bracken. Â It went so well with the look and feel of the wedding and I’ll never forget the grin on her face (and Gary’s!) as she danced in the field basking in the sun, pure and utter happiness.
I can’t thank you both enough for asking me to photograph your day, it was one of the most feel good joyful weddings I’ve ever been to and so happy to have been there to enjoy the day with you both.
Much much love,  Zoë
