I’ve wrote before about my love for boutique hotel Monachyle Mhor. It’s such a beautiful little spot to get married, all year round from the snow dusted winter months to the knockout colours of Autumn, not only does it have stunning scenery but I love the unique, artistic interior of the hotel and of course incredible food. To me it’s the perfect get-away and couldn’t be better for a intimate family wedding.
Winter weddings just add that extra feel of intimacy for me, the idea of coming in from the cold to warm with your friends and family, or even just the two of you with drinks and food and roaring fires, it’s bliss. Of course winter weddings aren’t without their challenges, the cold being one of them but my goodness you get rewarded for your efforts, you don’t need to go far here for incredible scenery.
Thank you so much Katie and Steven for asking me to photograph your beautiful winter elopement. It truly was such an honour and pleasure to get to know you both and spend such a wonderful day with you and your families.
